Prescott Library's Best of 2019 Book List

It's that time of year, when the librarians at Wheeler join forces to think about all the books we've read, discussed, read about, and can't stop recommending. It's difficult for us to narrow down all the great reads from the past year, and if you asked us all tomorrow, we might have different answers.

Nevertheless, we've joined the ranks Kirkus, Publisher's Weekly, The New York TimesSchool Library Journal, and The Washington Post to create our own selection of the Best Books of 2019.

Our list includes titles for all members of the Wheeler community -- Nursery through Adult. Within the list there are mysteries, romances, performers, and royalty. There are stories of new schools, odd jobs, ghosts, and identity. The collection includes fiction and non-fiction titles in picture book, chapter book, and graphic novel formats.

Scroll over any image to learn more about that title book. If the book is in our collection the cover will link to our catalog. Most of these titles are in our library collections here on campus, but you can easily purchase your own copy at your local independent bookstore.

We hope you enjoy this end of year list. Happy reading!!
