AAPI Anti Racism Resources and Three Poems

Allyship is important, and here are some resources to help you learn more.

Welcome back to Spring!! We hope you are enjoying the warmer days and found some ways to read, rest, and relax during the break. The week, the library is highlighting a library resource guide with links to books, articles, and other readings primarily geared at students, faculty, staff, and parents who are white to understand the racism that Asian Americans face in the United States of America. Allyship is important, and here are some resources to help you learn more.

We welcome suggestions and additions to this guide, so please help us strengthen this guide if you are able. Stop Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander Hate.

And, as today begins the first day of National Poetry Month, here are links to three poems by the poet Li-Young Lee: 'Immigrant Blues", "I Ask My Mother to Sing," and "The Gift."

In solidarity,
